- A current student at a recognized academic institution in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrate an interest in starting your own company.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a tutor or course coordinator to demonstrate academic performance.
- You must not have received the 1st Formations Business Scholarship before.
- Demonstrate that your particular circumstances qualify you for more financial assistance.

3. Armed Forces Bereavement Scholarship Scheme

The Scheme will pay a portion of the cost of a first undergraduate degree at a publicly financed UK university.

If all of the following are true, you can apply for financial assistance with the costs of further and higher education:
- As a result of their military service, one of your parents perished. On or after January 1, 1990, your parent died.
- You’re 16 or older and enrolled in school full-time.
- The Armed Forces Compensation scheme, War Pension scheme, or Armed Forces Attributable Benefits plan pays you or a surviving parent bereavement benefits.

4. Foundation Programme Progression Scholarship

Monday 1 August 2022.
Criteria
- For students who have completed a Foundation course at Kent with International Programs and will begin an undergraduate degree in September 2022.
- Into the bank accounts of the successful candidates in three equal termly installments
- All Foundation Year and International Foundation Programme (IFP) students from International Programs in 2021-22 are eligible to apply (applicants must have studied the module FOUN0036 during the 2021-22 academic year)
- Scholarships will be awarded based on a mix of the student’s final academic results, attendance and involvement throughout the Foundation Year/IFP, tutor recommendations, and the quality of the applicant’s essay.
- After completing the Foundation Year/IFP, successful applicants will be required to attend a presentation for 2022-23 foundation students in the spring semester and commit to writing at least one blog post for International Programmes about their experience as a first-year. Applicants may be required to submit a student testimonial for publication on the University of Kent’s website.

5. Sports Scholarships
Undergraduate scholarships are provided at the University of Kent for both domestic and international students.

- Have accepted an unconditional or firmly accepted a conditional offer from the Kent and Medway Medical School.
- Preferably attended a Kent secondary school, and was the first generation to go to university.
- This scholarship is directed at NHS professionals redirecting into medicine with a preference for applicants from the County of Kent, with family responsibilities, and graduates who are unable to get a student loan to pay fees because they already have or have had a student loan.
